ORLANDO, Fla. (CureBowl.com) – The NFL Draft saw eight Cure Bowl alumni hear their names called over the three-day virtual event. Louisiana had a school-record three players drafted, including OT Robert Hunt selected in the second round by the Miami Dolphins on Friday.
Five players from the 2018 Cure Bowl featuring the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns and Tulane Green Wave are set to play on Sundays this fall, while three players from the 2019 Cure Bowl are headed to the NFL.
After the seven-round draft, 16 players that played in the Cure Bowl signed contracts as undrafted free agents.
